Terms of service

These terms cover your use of IncidentLabs, run from India. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Your account

• Use your real email, keep your password private, and keep one account per person.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the free plan. To buy a paid plan you must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms for you.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at navalbihani15@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it.

Fair use

The lessons, problems and grader are for your own learning. You agree not to:

• scrape, download in bulk, copy or republish lessons, problems, hidden tests, editorials or solutions;
• use bots or scripts against the site, get around rate limits or locks, or create extra accounts to do so;
• try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or access other people's data;
• post anything unlawful, abusive or not yours to share in Discuss or your profile.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Content

• The course (text, problems, tests, simulator and design) belongs to IncidentLabs. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it while you have an account.
• Your designs and posts stay yours. By sharing a design in Discuss you let other learners view it on the site, and you let us show it there.

Paid plans

• Pro is sold for a fixed period: one month or twelve months. The price, what Pro includes and the period are shown before you pay. Prices are final: no taxes or fees are added at checkout.
• You pay with UPI by scanning the QR code for the plan you chose, then send us the transaction reference (UTR). We check every payment against our account and switch Pro on once it's confirmed, usually within a few hours. Submitting details is not proof of payment: Pro starts only after we confirm it.
• Plans don't renew on their own and nothing is charged again. Renewing early adds the new period after the current one.
• If a payment is reversed, disputed with your bank, or turns out not to match what was paid (for example a different amount or someone else's transaction), we may end the Pro it gave, without a refund of that payment.
• The Founding Member price is limited to the first 100 members and lasts for 12 months from your first Founding payment, as long as you renew within 7 days of each month ending.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

The simulator is a teaching tool

Costs, latencies and capacities in the simulator are simplified estimates for learning. They are not a guarantee of how a real system behaves or what it costs. Don't rely on them for production decisions.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and correct, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that it will get you a job. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may end or change the service; if we shut down a paid feature you paid for, we will refund the unused part.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and email signed-up users about significant changes; using the site afterwards means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Complaints

Complaints go to our grievance officer, Naval Bihani (navalbihani15@gmail.com). We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it.
